U9 Festival of Camogie 2025

On Saturday the 13th September 2025, our Under 9's Camóg's held their inaugural Festival of Camogie in UCD. The girls welcomed teams from country-wide including Slaughtneil from Derry, Carrigaline from Cork, Navan O'Mahony's, Kilmessan and Kildalkey from Meath, Sinrone from Offaly, along with Naomh Mearnog from Dublin.  

Over 240 girls showed off their fantastic skills across 3 matches, with all the girls beautifully representing their clubs both on and off the pitch. We were lucky to have Hegarty Hurleys on-site to help with repairs & replacement hurls after a few clashes. 

Well done and buíochas ollmhór to all the teams and to the players, and to our wonderful parents, coaches & mentors who worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly. We would also like to acknowledge UCD for hosting us & our sponsors, Woodfire & Wings and The Goat, who generously supported the u9 Festival of Camogie.  

The girls are already looking forward to hosting the 2026 Festival of Camogie - ag siúl go mór leis an lá!
