Inaugural KCWheelers Sportive Cycle Sunday May 25th 2025

On Sunday May 25th, KC Wheelers held the inaugural running of a Sportive cycle which we are planning to make a regular annual event.  The cycle was  open to all members of Kilmacud Crokes.  Over 50 cyclists took part and experienced the vibrant cycling community within our club. There were 2 routes to choose from -  a lumpy 150km through Wicklow, or a flatter 80km route to Sallins and back to Glenalbyn.  Even the weather played ball with lovely cycling conditions on route.  On finishing the cycle, all cyclists returned to the club house for refreshments and a social event. The day was a fantastic success and augers well for the running of future sportive events. We will done to all involved in the organisation, all who took part and a special note of thanks to the 2 support crews who provided support for both routes. Check out some photo's taken of the event.
