KC Minor footballers 6-18 to 2-2 win over Foxrock Cab in Pairc de Burca last night.
Another top class performance by Kilmacud Crokes Ladies Football Minors in Pairc de Burca v. Foxrock Cabinteely. Built up early lead - but conceded two goals just before half time - to lead by seven points. Very strong performance throughout second half - including several outstanding team efforts (combining fast breaks and accurate interplay).
In what was a top class team prformance unfair to pick out individuals - but Holly Greer, Mia Jennings, Ellen Curran and Aoife Kane asked a lot of hard questions of Foxrock. Backed up by some high quality finishes from Julia Buckley. Backline strong throughout - only conceded one point in second half.
Crokes ran out comprehensive winners. Now advance to play Na Fianna in League semi final. Of the round robin matches the first half of the Na Fianna game was the most challenging to date.
