UPDATE ON TONIGHTS SFC QUARTER FINAL AND LATER STAGES

Parnell Park has passed a pitch inspection this afternoon so Wednesday nights Evening Herald Dublin SFC quarter-final double-header will go ahead.

The action gets underway with the meeting of reigning champions, St Brigids, and Templeogue Synge St (6.45). The sides clashed in the opening round last year when Synger prevailed before the Russell Park men launched their successful assault on the Championship via the qualifiers.

Next up will be the clash of Kilmacud Crokes and St Sylvesters (8.15).

The semi-finals take place this Sunday in Parnell Park (Templeogue Synge St/St Brigids v Kilmacud Crokes/St Sylvesters, 2.15; St Judes v Ballymun Kickhams, 4.0).

This years final takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, October 29 in Parnell Park (7.45).
