DUBLIN 8-3 | CROKES 6-4

Body
DUBLIN 8-3       CROKES 6-4

The stands erupted again last night as Dublin’s captain Bryan Cullen raised the Sam Maguire. Despite having had three nights of continuous celebrations Dublin were not in the mood to end their winning streak this quickly.

Last night’s charity match ended in victory for the Dubs in a game that had a bit of everything, including Dublin manager Pat Gilroy featuring up front for a while and pointing. John Costello entered the fray in full Dublin regalia and Rory O’Carroll punched over the bar, thankfully at the right end as he was at full forward for Kilmacud Crokes! Top scorer on the night was Eamon Fennell who knocked in no less than five goals and revelling in the freedom that we had become unaccustomed to.

All in all a very entertaining night for everyone that turned up and of great benefit to the charities involved.

Well done all.
