FOOTBALL FUNDRAISER - CYCLE TO NAVAN FOR ALL IRL SEMI

Dear Kilmacud Crokes Members,

 

Coinciding with Sunday's All Ireland Club Football semi-final we are asking for your help in ensuring our Club progresses towards 2011 All Ireland Club honours AND our ability to compete at all levels in the years to come.

 

To enable us to provide this opportunity for our community at large we have set up a fund-raising team to run a number of Club events over the coming year. The first of these events is a Sponsored Cycle to engender Support on the Day for our Senior Team and to raise funds.

 

The cost of operating Football in the Club has risen each year, particularly in the areas of Insurance, Registration, Renting of Winter Training facilities, Coaching and "House" Contributions.  With success comes greater demands on players, coaches, mentors, families and regrettably costs. If everyone contributes a little it will reduce the burden of the financial pressures.

 

As a Football Committee we are committed to reviewing how best to fund operations, how to be cost-effective in all areas and how to create a greater community within Kilmacud Crokes. With the constant increase in playing numbers the challenge gets bigger.

 

We are looking for your SUPPORT on Sunday next, 27th February, and for the Fund-Raising Team who will be knocking on your door throughout the year..

 

Without you we have no Club. Thanks in advance for your contribution!

Note re. Navan arrangements

Ahead of the match our Sponsored Cycle Team of Cyclists and many supporters plan to meet in the Newgrange Hotel,  Navan. By special arrangement, a 3 course lunch will be provided to KC supporters for €12 each (a children's menu will also be available for €6.50) . We are encouraging all to make a day of it and join cyclists and other supporters in the Newgrange Hotel - which is just a 10 minute walk fromPairc Tailteann.   Others  travelling down for the match may be interested in knowing this and we would appreciate it if you'd let them know.

Our Senior Footballers are a credit to our Club and  they appreciate your support .... let's see and hear you all in Navan on Sunday!!
