Match 1 :KC3 V Naomh BarrÏŒg
Great start by Crokes within first minute an early attack, ball in to Gearoid, Hand pass to Niall Kickham who chipped over keeper Goal KC! 3 minutes later ball into forwards after good work by Patrick and James Weldon Barr takes a lovely point, BarrÏŒg on the attack straight away but great clearance from Stephen Keegan. 2 minutes later a penalty to BarrÏŒg due to jersey pull, Stephen stands strong and makes an excellent save! Some great defensive play ensued until Crokes got the ball up to the forwards and Niall K shot is narrowly wide. Good save from BarrÏŒg keeper from a shot by Niall. On the 12 min, a free won by Barry McGowan was converted by James. On the 19 min mark BarrÏŒg with Crokes under pressure score a Goal from a high ball dropped into the box. Crokes midfield of Oisin Donnelly and Ben Smith Kohler are doing very well.Half time score Kilmacud Crokes 1-2 to Naomh BarrÏŒg 1-0
Second half BarrÏŒg started strongly with a goal just dropping in over Stephen's head. Crokes respond quickly with good pass from Niall Bezeci to Niall K with a goal to restore Crokes lead. 5 minutes later, a free kick taken by Barry to Niall K slotted in for another goal! 2 minutes later good work from James into the on form Niall K who scores again, score now 4-2 to 2-0. Under sustained pressure from BarrÏŒg the Crokes defensive play was super, with Patrick, Jack, Conor Cassidy and Conor Nyland delivering fine performances, and Art, Chris and Max standing strong at the back, with another fine save by Stephen. Both teams working hard up and down the field with wide's by both sides with Ben and Jack supporting our back line well, on the 19th minute following a good move through the midfield Niall scores another goal after his first shot was saved but he was quick to react and score on the rebound. Hugh Keane comes on for Niall upfront. Great finish to the match Crokes worthy winners

Match 2 KC V St Mark's B
Good early pressure by St Mark's gives them a 1 point advantage however a super response by Crokes sees Niall restore the balance with a nicely taken point. Crokes under severe pressure concede another point in the 4 minute but great work from Jack Fitzgerald passing to Niall and on to Jack Gallagher who scores a point to level the match again. St Mark's attack again but great defending by William and Stephen sees ST Mark's push 2 wide. Up the other end Niall and Stephen narrowly miss scores. St Mark's then have a goal disallowed due to a straight pick up. Pressure continues to mount on Crokes but on the 10 minute a great block from Oisin Murray and a clearance from Stephen keep Crokes in the game. Unfortunately Crokes concede a free close to the goal and ST Mark's go into the lead again. Great work by Crokes in the midfield and Oisin defending strongly St Mark's push it wide of the post. Crokes battle up the field and good work moving ball from one Niall to the other and then to Stephen Tuite who puts it over the bar and the teams are back on level terms 0-3 to 0-3. St Mark's go up the field again and put the ball in the back of the net - but it is disallowed due to for a square ball. Unfortunately St Mark's pick up the clearance and score another point. On the stroke of half time Niall's shot is saved from a 45 kick.
Half Time; K Crokes 0-3 - St Mark's 0-4
Second half and St Mark's get a great start showing their soccer skills scoring a goal. 1 minute later they gather a clearance and score a point. They continue to put Crokes under pressure and a free is conceded which is converted to a point twice in succession. Conor Nyland defends strongly with a great block to prevent a score. Crokes fighting strongly but the St Mark's forwards show their strength and score a goal followed by a point. Crokes get the attack going again but just seem to lack the right last pass as St Mark's come out with the ball again and score another point. Jack F takes the ball from the back and carries it up the middle on a super run but is unlucky to hit the post. Jack takes another run up the pitch and is fouled allowing Crokes to get their first score of the second half. Good work in the middle by Harry who lays it off to Daniel Crowley, but the shot goes wide. On the 15th minute of the second half William finds James in the middle who passes to Jack G for a goal for Crokes. St Mark's on the attack again but Stephen saves as it comes back off the post. St Mark's take another point but William makes some good runs up the middle, but to no avail. Art puts in a couple of good blocks at the back to deny St Mark's any further scores.

Match 3 K Crokes v St Sylvester's B
This is a must win match for Crokes if they want to progress to the semi-finals and all the boys are up for it. Sylvester's get a good early start with a ball dropped in over the goalkeepers head for a goal. Crokes get it straight back up the pitch but put it wide. Both sides moving the ball up and down the pitch but on the 7th minute Crokes get a free taken quickly to Niall Kickham and he scores yet another goal to level the match. Sylvester's react quickly with a great move from the back they score a point. 3 minutes later with James making a great run he passes to Art who kicks a super Captains goal over the keeper's head to put Crokes in front. Shortly afterwards, Sylvester's break from the back to score a goal and put themselves in the lead by a point. Tired legs, but battling hard, Niall B scores a point from a quickly taken 45. Meanwhile Conor Nyland is putting in a great performance at the back to deny Sylvester's.
Half-time All square: Kilmacud Crokes 2-1 St. Sylvesters 2-1
A rousing half time speech from the mentors asks the Crokes boys to stand up and be counted and leave nothing on the side-line. Crokes hold strong for the next 5 minutes and narrowly fail to score after Niall sends the ball across the goal and wide. Jack is standing strong in midfield but after sustained pressure Crokes concede 4 points in a row. Crokes get a great move together with the ball moving from William to Patrick and then to Niall who is denied by the post. Sylvester take advantage of the Crokes disappointment and score another point. Crokes start putting on the pressure and James picks up a kick out to start some great attacking work, with a great shot from Niall saved but William puts the goalie under pressure and the ball drops into the goal! Crokes are only a goal behind with all to play for. Sylvester's start another attack which ends in a Penalty but Stephen once again stands strong to defend his goal and save the penalty. During the play that follows Sylvester score another point. Crokes go into attack again despite the tired leg, but the ball goes across the front of the goal and wide. Arron Murphy replaces Jack G upfront and laid off a great ball but good defending prevented any further scores from Crokes. Despite some great defensive work from Niall B and Conor Nyland who had an outstanding second half, Sylvester's score another point with the last kick of the game to beat Crokes by 4 points 3-1 to 2-8.

A great battling performance by Crokes but it was not to be their day. With Jack Vallom out with a hand injury and Daniel Crowley not fully fit following a bug, they did their club and Mentors proud!

Thanks a lot to Aidan Horan coordinator in Silverpark , Donal Gallagher and all the under 15 Parents and Mentors who organised the tournament and car parking as well as providing refreshments to all the players and spectators. Hopefully we can repeat this effort next year.
