Kilmacud Crokes' Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) in collaboration with our Green Club is planning to
embark on a significant energy upgrade of Club facilities.
We are also aware that managing energy costs while trying to keep a home warm and comfortable
is a daily challenge for many of our members and community.
The range of retrofit options and grant schemes available can feel overwhelming when you are trying to
work out the best steps to take in your own situation.
To help cut through the confusion, Kilmacud Crokes SEC in collaboration with our Green Club is hosting an
in-person Energy Clinic to help you find out more.
Presentation : *Gavin Harte, SEAI SEC County Mentor for Dunlaoghaire-Rathdown, will provide
independent, expert advice to move beyond the jargon.
Gavin will focus on
(i) Practical Tips & Tricks; We will look at low-cost and no-cost behavioral changes that can help you
manage your energy use immediately. These are structured, incremental changes that can make a real
difference to your bills without needing major investment.
(ii) Navigating SEAI Grants; Gavin will provide a comprehensive walkthrough of current Government
supports, helping you understand which path fits your needs and budget
**Members, friends, family and local community all welcome to attend**
This is also an opportunity for you to let us know of your own areas of interest and take part in initiatives helping
create a sustainable and better environment within our Club and local Community
