Kilmacud Crokes Football Renewables Ireland 7's Tournament - What a Great Event

On Saturday July 19th, The Football section  held an Internal 7's competition. The group stages were held in Silverpark with the closing stages of the tournament  in Pairc De Burca. The closing stages of a Juvenile 7's tournament were also completed in the afternoon.  It was a fantastic day.  The football section wants to say a big Thank You to Paul Higgins and his Renewables Ireland's team for coming on board to sponsor the event.  Also to Tracey, Elaine and all the cafe / bar staff for their support in providing food and drinks for the big crowd who were enjoying the action.  After the tournament finished, folks stayed on to watch on the Senior B hurlers in their opening championship game where they drew with Raheny. The Intermediate Ladies team also hosted a visiting team from Galicia in Spain in a match in Silverpark in the afternoon and they joined in the fun after their game.  When all the action was over, members enjoyed the music which was provided in the bar, late into the evening.  

We also completed the Football section raffle on the day. This raffle was supported by all the section  team and raised much needed  funds to run the football section on an annual basis. Well done to Aisling Lyndon, Paul Mannion, Kevin O' Carroll, Henry Dolphin and Barry Kiernan who all won cash prizes in the draw. 

A BIG thank you to all those hard working volunteers who were involved in planning and taking part in the event on the day. Congrats to all the players and their managers.   A great Club day for all.
