The Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club community is very sad to hear of the passing of Deirdre TEMPLE (née Sheridan). Deirdre is sister to Rory and Brian Sheridan.  Rory, Brian and all the Sheridan family including Deirdre's late father John and Uncle Pat have long standing involvement in the club and have and continue to contribute immensely to the running and development of the club. We extend our condolences and sympathies to Rory, Brian and all the extended Temple and  Sheridan familes at this sad time. They are in our thought's and prayers.  May Deirdre Rest in Peace. Deirdre's Funeral Details below :

Deirdre Temple (née Sheridan) of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Sandyford, Dublin 18, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, 26th February, 2026.

Beloved eldest daughter of the late Rita and John Sheridan. Adored and adoring Mum of Emma and Adam, loving partner of Tony and sister of Brian, Rory and Tara. She will be sadly missed by her children and their father Barry, partner, brothers, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, nephews, relatives and friends.

On behalf of Deirdre, her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors and medical staff who looked after her, Dr. Claire Andrews, Chandan D’Souza and all of the nurses in St. Anne’s Ward in St. Vincent’s, and Dr. Catherine Flynn and the medical staff in St. James’.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 3rd March at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, followed by private cremation.
