Club Office Admin Update
Following many years service in the Club Office, Bernie Spillane is leaving. We would like to acknowledge her important contribution to the Club and wish her all the very best for the future. As a result of this, we are now looking for a new recruit to join the Club support team. Initially, we are seeking a Sports Club Administrator to work with us ON A FIXED TERM CONTRACT from the end of June to the end of August 2016. Details of the role, and how to apply, are outlined below. Full training will be provided and our new recruit will receive support from others engaged in the running of the Club.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Reporting to 2 x KGSC Committee nominees

About Crokes... Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club is one of Ireland’s largest GAA clubs. The Club has over 4,800 members and caters for the GAA codes of Mens and Ladies Football, Hurling and Camogie. The Club fields approximately 130 teams across all age groups and levels.
Job Purpose
Provide administration support to KGSC Committee and Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club Executive, deal with member queries and support Club Coaches with implementation/operation of various Summer Camps.
Specific tasks*
-
deal with incoming e-mails, post and telephone queries
-
handle membership and summer camp queries
-
provide reception support during office public hours (hours under review)
-
Club communications & PR;manage Club noticeboards and help create PR notices
-
maintain the club database (MyClubFinance.ie) and web/social media platforms
-
manage room and facility bookings
-
arrange service of facilities as required

Other duties as may be assigned
The person appointed will be someone who can deal effectively with members and work with other Club personnel and designated Club Committee members. Also, they will be able to work on their own initiative, ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and maintain confidentiality.
Skills required :

practical experience of MS Office i.e. Word and Excel and an aptitude for IT

good on-line communication skills e.g. e-mail and social media

experience of operating as part of a team and on own initiative

Being a member of the Club with knowledge of various sections would be an advantage
