PLAY THE WHISTLE WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Congratulations to Centre Half-Back (John Sweeney) who is the winner of our second Play The Whistle competition on a total of 2,250 points, followed closely by Barry OBrien with 2,200 points and James OBoyle with 2,000 points. The corresponding prizes are €1,000, €500 and €250.
The turning point in this years competition was Event No. 8, The Champions League when both the winner and third place picked Other (Chelsea) to win gaining 400 points. Its good to see how much John Sweeney, great clubman and All Irl Club hero from 1995, knows about soccer!
Of the 804 people who played, the following 20 will receive €100 arising from pre-determined prize-winning positions:
