SAM LIGHTS UP THE CHILDRENS SUNSHINE HOME

Our Football Chairman, Pat Lamb, received the following nice note of appreciation from Sally O'Neill of The Childrens' Sunshine Home.  It followed the arrival of "Sam" on Monday last to our parish neighbours in Leopardstown Road:

"On behalf of all the children, their families and the staff in The Children's Sunshine Home may I express our sincere thanks to you for arranging the Sam Maguire cup to be brought here yesterday.  It was warmly and proudly welcomed by everyone in all its glory along with some of the champions - Rory O'Carroll, Kevin Nolan, Craig Dias plus Paddy O'Donoghue and others.  It was just fantastic and the guys stood for several photos with the children and their families which was such a joy for them and will be remembered by all of them for a long time to come.  They're great guys.  Thank you for your continued support which we deeply value."
